production method | 1. in a 200 ml autoclave, 4.7 grams (0.59 moles) of lithium hydride and 102 grams (1.04 moles) of triethylboron are placed, and heated to about 200 atmospheres for 4 hours under shaking. After cooling, the gas (86% ethane, 4% ethylene and 10% hydrogen) is released, the solid is extracted with hot benzene, filtered, removed lithium hydride and concentrated to obtain 58 grams (93%) of colorless crystals. |
